The former professional cyclist Melcior Mauri joins the initiative www.regalaunbosque.org. This initiative consists of a series of three races of Trail Running leading through national territories with burnt forests. 100% of these races' inscription fee will be used to reforest these areas. The Boski Trail races are overseen by the National Sports Council and it's the primary goal to make the public aware of the terrible consequences caused by the fires in the woods. So it is really important that we are collaborating to protect our forests. Melcior Mauri shows his support as ambassador of this initiative.

Since May this year the guests in Club Aldiana, Tunisia, are offered to cycle on bikes by BIKECONTROL M.Mauri. The club in Tunisia is the first of all Aldiana facilities equipped with BIKECONTROL bikes. This deal has been carried out in close cooperation with the German BIKECONTROL-partner gym80 International. The spacious facility is situated at the sand beach on an area of 100.000 sqm. It includes one main building and several adjoining buildings of 2 or 3 floors. The main building, the family houses and a variety of bungalows provide 321 rooms.

The Spanish cyclists Melcior Mauri, Abraham Olano and Francesc Xavier Carnicer will participate in the next edition of the Nissan Titan Desert 2010 as members of the Santiveri-Termotur team, which are managed by BIKECONTROL M.Mauri. The race will take place from 3rd to 7th of May leading through the desert of Morocco. The three cyclists rely on an extensive experience in this African mountain bike challenge through the Atlas mountains and the Sahara desert. 500 kilometers split into five stages have to be done. The Santiveri-Termotur team aspires to compete for the first places and counts on the winner of the edition in 2007, Melcior Mauri. During the presentation of the team he assured, that "this year there will be a hard fight" and indicated: "We are facing more ex professionals of road cycling and active professional mountain bikers".

www.AS.com: Juan Carlos, the Spanish King, received yesterday the organization comittee of the Vuelta a España and secretary of Sports, Jaime Lissavetzky, due to the 75th anniversary of the Vuelta. Javier Guillén, head of the entourage, was accompanied by former winners of the Spanish tour like Pedro Delgado, Abraham Olano, Melcior Mauri and even winners of a longer time ago like Bahamontes and Julio Jiménez. Guillén also mentioned that the King was pleased by the new red jersey, designed by Custo, Barcelona, that he handed to him: "He liked the concept of the Red that is now the most important attribute of Spanish sports".

FIBO 2010 has been a really big success for BIKECONTROL M.Mauri. A lot of contacts of high quality proofed that we could realize a lot of interest not only in Germany, but also on international level. Of course we could benefit a lot from the possibility to be a guest on the prominent booth of our partner gym80. gym80 has a lot of prestige and had one of the most important booths of the whole tradeshow.
